Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Manager at Bolton CAMHS.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
To be responsible for the day to day team management, leadership and development of a designated multi-disciplinary Child and adolescent children's service which is integrated, flexible, user-focussed and recovery-orientated.
To ensure the safe delivery of effective, and high quality services to Children and Young People with mental health needs, to ensure delivery to the relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the Bolton CAMHS operational procedure.
Participate in the service on call rota as required this is subject to agreement.
Main duties of the job
To organise your own workload, clinical caseload and work schedules in agreement with the operational manager.
To be responsible for the day to day management of a busy children's mental health service.
To work alongside other managers and be part of the senior leadership team.
To manage and supervise staff clinically and managerially.
To ensure comprehensive risk assessment an of children, young people and families and that risk management plans are in place and documented.
To engage and support staff, young people and carers in utilising brief evidence based coping strategies and self-help.
