Clinical Specialist Dietitian

We are looking for an experienced and motivated dietitian with advanced clinical knowledge and skills. If this is you, there is an exciting opportunity at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury.

As a clinical lead, you will ensure we deliver a high-quality service to our patients. You will have exceptional communication skills and use your expert clinical knowledge to support staff and service development.

You will have the opportunity to use and develop your leadership skills. You will support and supervise students, Dietetic Assistants, and other dietitians, as well as playing a key role in raising the profile of dietetics.

This post provides an opportunity to work with other dietitians in general medicine, stroke, and critical care. There will also be opportunity to work with patients with eating disorders / disordered eating admitted for acute medical intervention.

There will be opportunities to share good practice across the wider dietetic team at other hospital sites in the Northern Care Alliance.

Development posts will be considered.

You will be the clinical lead for dietetics working alongside senior colleagues to provide high quality nutritional assessment and intervention for our patients. You will ensure we provide evidence-based intervention and support staff and service development.
