Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Endoscopy Unit at North Manchester General hospital. You should be a dynamic and experienced support worker who enjoys working in a busy environment where no day is the same. Ideally candidates will have knowledge and skills of working in endoscopy but this is not essential as all training will be provided
Main duties of the job
The endoscopy unit is based within the day surgery department at entrance 3 at NMGH. We enjoy a national reputation for excellence in medical and nursing innovation, with a culture of interdisciplinary working. North Manchester General Hospital Endoscopy has 4 procedure rooms and 1 ERCP room. Our procedures are varied and diverse and include diagnostic and therapeutic procedures i.e. gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy , colonoscopy, PEG insertion, endoscopic ultrasound & ultrasound guided therapy, ERCP & spyglass, EBUS/Bronchoscopy/Thoracoscopy/Urology and cardiology procedures.
