Job overview

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and a strong commitment to personal and professional development and teamwork are essential for this post. Knowledge of the PARIS patient database system would be advantageous but not essential, as training/development will be given.

As the role involves dealing with the public and professionals you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.  You will have a flexible and professional approach.

You will possess excellent communication skills, have proven organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative. 

You will be able to organise and prioritise your own workload, meet set deadlines and balance this with the demands of this diverse and varied role. 

Main duties of the job

Processing information relating to the CPA  (Care Programme Approach) maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Essential criteria
  • ECDL or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and experience of PC based applications i.e. Microsoft Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills dealing with enquiries in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines, prioritizing and organizing your workload where appropriate
  • To work flexibly as a member of a team and be willing to offer support to colleagues.
