We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Administration service to provide relief cover throughout Tameside and Glossop. This post will work across all of the localities providing full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams that are based within the community clinics.

Working as part of a team, the post holder will act as the first point of contact for all community service users therefore the post holder must have the ability to deal with the general public and have a positive approach to customer care. Administration experience is essential as you will be expected to undertake a full range of clerical tasks.

Community clinics currently operate between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday. As a Rotational Clerical Officer, you will be required to cover all clinic sites dependent on service requirements. The footprint ranges from Glossop to Hyde to Ashton to Denton & Droylsden therefore being able to travel  is essential.

*****This role will be working within the Community Administration service for Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Organisation. The Community Administration service covers 14 sites across the Tameside & Glossop boroughs, which provide community services to local patients.’ *****

 

Main duties of the job

To provide a welcoming and professional first impression for our patients/Healthcare Professionals on arrival at community clinic reception desks, whether this be front facing or via telephone, to ensure they receive an excellent customer service experience.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for all community service users therefore you must be able to deal professionally with a range of enquiries, in person, by phone or by email in an efficient, polite and courteous manner.

The post holder will be expected to provide full clerical support to the Health Care Professional teams based in community settings.

Working within localities, you will be expected to work as part of a team but also without direct supervision to ensure the smooth running of the clinics. The post holder will be expected to provide administrative cover across all locality sites.

  • English and Maths, GCSE, CSE, level 1 or A-C or above or equivalent experience
