Job overview

A Fantastic opportunity to Join our team at our new purpose built hospital in North Manchester.

The successful candidate will be a great team player working in our kitchens and service points, who is capable of helping the teams to continue in delivering a fantastic food service to our service users within the units . They will be a great communicator, and have the ability to think on their feet.

Candidates will be expected to have or to be able to gain at least a level 2 food hygiene level of knowledge 

The role will include basic kitchen duties as well as assisting in food service to our service users.

Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.

Main duties of the job

  • To Provide a customer focused service
  • Preparation and service of food items on patient wards.
  • To adhere to safe working practices in all aspects of food hygiene
  • To adhere to all safe working practices in all aspects of risk management and security
  • To undertake mandatory training and comply with all food safety policies relevant to the post.
