Job overview
To manage a defined caseload of service users from the adult in-patient mental health service under the supervision of a senior Occupational Therapist. The post holder will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with other agencies and services, in line with the Care Programme Approach to promote recovery and social inclusion.
To apply person centred principles and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy interventions. To carry out interventions in hospital and in the community including home visits. Contribute to the development of a therapeutic environment which promotes sustainable positive change.
