Clinical research at MFT

Our MFT Research and Innovation strives to be at the forefront of R&I in UK healthcare. We are dedicated to driving continuous improvement in the care our patients receive through clinical research. We support over 300 principal investigators undertake research across a diverse range of clinical areas, with more than 800 active studies, involving 15,000 patients, deliver improved diagnostics, treatments and devices for patients in Manchester and beyond.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a full time Band 6 Senior Clinical Research Nurse  to support the  coordination  and delivery of  clinical research studies in the Collaborative Research Hub.

If you are committed to providing high quality care to patients and helping them to make the right decisions about their treatment options, with the skills to guide and advise them throughout their research journey, this role could be for you.

You’ll be joining an award-winning and diverse team of experts at MFT who are making a difference to the future of care in the NHS by asking questions and finding out the answers.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to the development of research within the Collaborative Research Team at Wythenshawe.   As a senior clinical research nurse you will be required to support research delivery across our substantial study portfolio  including;  gastroenterology, colorectal, surgical, hepatalogy, ENT, orthopaedic, burns and plastic and biobank studies.

Some cross site working will be required.  Occasional out of hours and weekend work may also be necessary.
