Ward 62 covers a wide range of gynecological specialties. You will work within a large team learning the skills to be a confident Band 5 covering patients undergoing conditions related to Reproductive Medicine, Benign Gynaecology, Uro-Gynaecology, Oncology and Medical management of pregnancy issues below 20 weeks gestation.
To join us, you will be a Registered Nurse with valid registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to support and contribute to a team approach, have excellent time management skills, manage own work load, have the ability to problem solve, analyse and resolve issues. In addition to this, you’ll be motivated to develop personally and professionally and have exemplary personal standards of conduct. If you are a newly qualified member of staff, you will be supported in your transition to your new role with our dedicated preceptorship program.
This is a full time position. Gynaecological experience is an advantage but not essential.
