Job overview

We are looking for Receptionist/Outpatient Clerks to work in a busy, customer service based role that has excellent telephone, receptionist experience and communication skills to join our Administration teams within the Gynaecology Outpatient Service at Saint Mary's Hospital. This role includes both Oxford Road Campus and Withington Hospital.

We work alongside Consultants, Nurses and AHPs to ensure patients receive the best care possible and we are looking for someone to bring a positive approach to our working environment.

Main duties of the job

Successful candidates must have excellent IT skills and experience working in a customer service or healthcare environment as you will be expected to use IT and communication equipment, and data input. You should demonstrate high levels of personal commitment to facilitate the delivery of a patient focused service.

You will need to work flexibly and apply a methodical approach to a varying workload. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

A friendly and conscientious outlook is also required as is the ability to liaise with all levels of staff and patients.

  • The service runs 08:00 until 17:00 Monday-Friday
  • Shift patterns are within the above hours
