The post holder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality, safe, and effective service within the department. They will be responsible for undertaking a range of operational duties in line with service requirements, contributing directly to the achievement of performance targets, KPI standards, and commissioner expectations.
The role involves managing a defined workload, prioritising tasks effectively, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services. The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the team and wider organisation to support service continuity, efficiency, and improvement.
A key aspect of the role is to support the reduction of waiting times and backlogs, improve service user experience, and maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. The post holder will also contribute to data quality, reporting requirements, and continuous service development.
The role requires strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. It is essential in maintaining operational resilience and supporting the service to meet current and future demand.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of a high-quality service within the department, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Key duties will include:
- Managing a defined caseload/workload, prioritising tasks according to clinical/operational need and agreed service priorities.
- Delivering timely and accurate completion of core duties in line with KPI targets, waiting time standards, and commissioner requirements.
- Supporting the assessment, planning, implementation, and review of service user care/activities (as applicable to role).
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organisational standards, data protection requirements, and governance policies.
- Communicating effectively with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and person-centred care/service delivery.
- Contributing to the reduction of waiting lists, backlogs, and service delays through effective workload management and prioritisation.
- Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to support continuous professional development and service improvement.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the service to ensure continuity, resilience, and efficiency of service delivery.
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and quality standards.
