The Renal Department at Manchester Royal Infirmary prides itself with being at the forefront of innovations and research in renal medicine whilst delivering excellent care to patients with renal disease and kidney transplant recipients. It provides comprehensive renal services to the people of Greater Manchester (Central, North, East and South) and East Cheshire.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated doctor to join the team as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Nephrology.

Person specification

Qualifications & Training

Essential criteria
  • MB.ChB or equivalent qualifications
  • Completion of basic medical training
  • Minimum of 2 years’ full time (or equivalent part time) hospital service in the SHO grade or higher
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience of speciality training in Renal Medicine, Acute/General Medicine
  • Postgraduate qualifications (MRCP or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
  • Completion or near completion of Nephrology Specialty Training

Audit and Research

Essential criteria
  • Experience of Audit/improvement
Desirable criteria
  • Previous research/oral papers/presentations/posters in scientific meetings

Academic Achievements
