Job overview
We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our respiratory and sleep physiology team at Band 3 level: Part-time. You will be required to:
Perform a range of Clinical Respiratory and Sleep investigations to patients of all ages from a range of specialties, which are cardio-thoracic in nature. Undertake additional training in specialist fields of Clinical Respiratory and Sleep medicine.
Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the respiratory and sleep physiology service.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Basic education including minimum 5 GCSE grade A-C (grade 4-9) or equivalent including Math and English.
Desirable criteria
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant scientific area.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience working with the general public.
- Use of computers including Microsoft Office.
Desirable criteria
- Previous Healthcare/Clinical Experience.
- Practical Experience or familiarity with a range of respiratory/sleep investigations.
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information in a variety of forms to patients, relatives carers and staff where appropriate
- Ability to keep accurate documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Motivated and organised.
- Work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Must maintain total patient confidentiality at all times.
Desirable criteria
- Able to undertake complex eye-hand co-ordination in the use of diagnostic equipment.
- Open to further study.
- Moving and handling skills.
