Are you dynamic, highly motivated and committed to improving patient outcomes and experience? An exciting Triage focused, Urology Triage Nurse Specialist   opportunity  has arisen within our Urology services across MFT. There may be some cross site travel to support our Urology services.

Due to recent changes within the Urology Service this exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual with multiple skills and an appetite for delivering a first class nursing service to join the team in one of the UKs most successful and progressive NHS Foundation Trusts.

Main duties of the job

There is an exciting opportunity for a Triage focused, Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist post within the urology division at WTWA MFT.

·    The majority of the outpatient urology clinics across WTWA, ORC, NMGH and Trafford are nurse led for urology benign and cancer patients.

The post holder will be expected to lead on Triaging patients refered to Urology, reviewing results and providing specialist knowledge and care to the urology patient and their carers. They will support colleagues in the effective management of patients in their specialist area who require a high level  of judgement, discretion and decision making. The post holder will provide education and training to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.

  • Educated to Degree Level in health-related studies

Experience

  • Specialist experience at Band 7 (2 years)

  • Experienced in budget management at ward level
