Clinical Vascular Scientist

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Vascular Scientist (CVS) to join our friendly NHS team in Manchester to perform a full range of vascular scans.

You’ll work closely with a welcoming, dedicated, busy team that includes both Vascular Scientists and Physiologists and an Out-patient Co-ordinator. You’ll also have the chance to work closely with Vascular Surgeons, Radiologists, Nurse Specialists as well as the Stroke, Cardiac, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, Haematology, Nephrology and Transplant teams

Our facilities provide the ideal environment in which to enhance your skills where you will help provide a comprehensive vascular diagnostic and surveillance service for the Adults, Women’s, Children’s and Eye Hospitals together with outreach clinics at Trafford.

The ideal applicant will have graduated from the Scientific Training Programme or have accreditation to the CSVS, however, consideration will be given to candidates approaching accreditation/graduation.

  • Post graduate qualification of Accreditation to the Society of Vascular Technology of GB and I or Successful completion of the STP MSc. or equivalent qualification

Experience
