Exciting opportunities have arisen for Staff Nurses to join our Colorectal Surgical Ward G4 As a team we offer support, both physically and mentally to all our patients from diagnosis, transitional from surgery and continually throughout their treatment plan. The acute setting can sometimes be very challenging, but is very rewarding.
Ward G4 is a fast paced working environment which gives staff the opportunity to use multiple transferable skills to provide the highest level of care to our patients.
Working on G4 will give you the opportunity to work along side multiple disciplinary specialists. G4 provides amazing learning opportunities and provide staff nurses with the skills to care for acutely unwell patients.
As the Healthier Together plans continue across Greater Manchester the Oldham Care Organisation is planned to play a crucial role and the Royal Oldham Hospital has been identified as a red/hub hospital for the area.
Recently the Royal Oldham has received encouraging feedback from the CQC recognising the good level of care provided by our teams across the care organisation and an overall general improvement in areas of safety and leadership.
The division of surgery has recently embarked on some new and exciting changes by commencing an improvement programme focusing on the deteriorating patient.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
