Job overview

Community Reception Services are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and committed individual to join their reception team to provide a wide range of administrative and clerical duties.

Hours are  28 hours per week:

·       Monday – Thursday 1200 – 1730

·       Friday 1230 – 1830

This post is for a Receptionist to cover busy reception desks meeting & greeting patients to the centre and being the main point of call for any building issues.

Based at Werneth Primary Care Centre.

Main duties of the job

You will provide an accurate, confidential, comprehensive and efficient clerical service to support tenants, ensuring priorities, deadlines and queries are always dealt with correctly and efficiently.

You will work on reception for the building to support all tenants including arriving patients & booking appointments, logging faults, monitoring the car park, making room bookings.

Essential criteria
  • GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths Grade C or above

Skills

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous proven reception experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of general office & administration procedures

  • Previous NHS/healthcare experience
  • Operate a switchboard/handle patient calls
  • General knowledge of a room booking system
  • Work on NHS clinical systems
