Job overview
The Estates department are looking to enhance their Maintenance team and are looking to add a full time Maintenance Assistant.
You will work with as an integrated member of the Estates team across a multi-discipline of trades.
Main duties of the job
You will assist with day to day maintenance and repairs, reactive work and installations within a building and engineering environment. Basic engineering knowledge is desirable.
You will need to drive the department vehicle to collect spares/equipment as and when required, therefore, a full clean driving licence is desired.

Essential criteria
- Written and verbal communication skills in order to be able to liaise with staff at all levels of the organisation
- Basic IT skills

- Computer literate and keyboard skills
Qualifications

- Full UK driving licence
Desirable criteria
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Domestic Heating
- Working toward the completion of a recognised Apprenticeship
Experience

- NHS/Healthcare experience
- Experience in an engineering or a building environment
