Providing admin support for the Trafford Early Intervention Team based at Crossgate House, Sale.

We are looking for a highly motivated and well organised Administration Assistant to join the Trafford Early Intervention Team. The successful applicant will provide admin support to the multi-disciplinary team working with a client group with mental health problems.

 

Main duties of the job

There will be client and carer telephone contact and therefore good communication skills are essential. This is a busy and friendly service, the team covers the Trafford area and operates across 365 days of the year, but the post holder would work within normal office hours. On some occasions the post holder may have to work at another base, if required. Experience of minute taking is essential.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Trafford Early Intervention Team.  Processing referrals, coordinating appointments for our service users and their carers where appropriate, typing of general correspondence, reports etc.  minute taking during MDT, professional and Safeguarding meetings.  Accurate recording of data quality information.  To have a flexible approach in providing admin support to the multi-disciplinary teams working with the client group with mental health difficulties.  There will be client and carer telephone contact therefore good communication skills are essential.

Person specification

Education

Essential criteria
  • Recognised competency-based level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. NVQ, B-TEC QCF, Apprenticeship), or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and telephony systems.
Desirable criteria
  • Other relevant IT qualifications

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience working in a busy office environment and experience of minute taking.
  • Have experience of working in an office environment that ensures confidentiality is always maintained
Desirable criteria
  • Have experience of working with members of the public. Including patients/service users
  • Experience using EPR systems

knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of challenges faced by those with mental health difficulties and a general interest in mental health issues.
