Night Mobile Warden - Care on Call

Job overview

We have the opportunity to invite the right applicants to join our well established Care on Call team. This position is partially based in the community, assessing clients in need of assistance due to falls or medical difficulties and using equipment to assist clients up after falls where appropriate, and partially based within our control centre where you will be expected to work independently using our answering system to take emergency calls from customers. Full training will be given.

This opportunity will suit anyone with a background in healthcare who ideally have a Health and Social care NVQ or equivalent qualification.

We will be interviewing for both the day and night rota posts at the same time. Please ensure that you complete the application form for your preferred shift.

Main duties of the job

It is desirable that you have some previous experience within the community. You will be able to deliver a high standard of customer care, with excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team. You will be willing to work flexibly across a 7-day week. As the service runs 24/7 . You must have a full UK driving license. You will have use of the service vehicles.
To deliver practical assistance to customers in their own homes in emergency situations

To work independently within a control centre environment, answering emergency calls

To take an active role in coordinating, delivering, and evaluating individual client care
