About the Role:
- Full-time (37.5 hours) – Part-time options available
- Develop and enhance your clinical and teaching skills as a Band 6 Practice Trainer
- Support and train staff to deliver the highest quality patient care across the Trust
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver ward-based and classroom training across the NCA
- Support staff in developing vital clinical skills such as Tracheotomy, ECG, Venepuncture, Patient Observations, IV Therapy, and Acute Illness Management (AIM)
- Lead courses on important topics like Sepsis and Deteriorating Patient Care
- Travel across different locations within the Trust to meet service needs
- Maintain meticulous records and complete learning needs analyses
- Liaise with key stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and experience

About the Role:
- Deliver top-quality clinical skills and simulation training across the NCA
- Design and develop courses tailored to patient and staff needs
- Evaluate and refine training programs to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in peer reviews to uphold high standards
- Support staff in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
- Maintain accurate training records and complete learning needs analyses
- Generate reports and liaise with key stakeholders to enhance training effectiveness
- Deliver ward-based training and develop new courses aligned with service requirements
