About the Role:

  • Full-time (37.5 hours) – Part-time options available
  • Develop and enhance your clinical and teaching skills as a Band 6 Practice Trainer
  • Support and train staff to deliver the highest quality patient care across the Trust

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver ward-based and classroom training across the NCA
  • Support staff in developing vital clinical skills such as Tracheotomy, ECG, Venepuncture, Patient Observations, IV Therapy, and Acute Illness Management (AIM)
  • Lead courses on important topics like Sepsis and Deteriorating Patient Care
  • Travel across different locations within the Trust to meet service needs
  • Maintain meticulous records and complete learning needs analyses
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and experience

About the Role:

  • Deliver top-quality clinical skills and simulation training across the NCA
  • Design and develop courses tailored to patient and staff needs
  • Evaluate and refine training programs to ensure continuous improvement
  • Participate in peer reviews to uphold high standards
  • Support staff in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
  • Maintain accurate training records and complete learning needs analyses
  • Generate reports and liaise with key stakeholders to enhance training effectiveness
  • Deliver ward-based training and develop new courses aligned with service requirements
