The Greater Manchester Neurosciences Centre (GMNC) is one of the largest Neurosciences centres in the UK and provides world class innovative patient care.

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within GMNC for  three (two full time & one 30 hours) experienced Medical Secretaries to support some of the most inspirational Consultants in the NHS based at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

You must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

You will be able to organise and prioritise your own workload and balance this with the demands of a busy, diverse and varied role.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, RSA II or equivalent typing, excellent audio typing skills, waiting list management, medical terminology, proven organisational skills, 18 week standards and a strong commitment to personal and professional development is desired.

GMNC is committed to supporting and developing it's team during this exciting time of service transformation, and has a track record of developing medical secretaries in to more senior operational roles.
