Hours to be worked across Monday to Friday 830am to 5.00pm
An exciting opportunity has become available to join Stockport School Nursing Service as a community school staff nurse providing preventative and supportive health care to children, young people and their families. You will be working under the supervision of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme developing your skills in public health and multi agency working
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic registered nurse with strong interpersonal skills who is able to communicate with professionals and children, young people and their families in a confident manner. You will have a passion for promoting public health supporting children, young people and their families in Stockport to adopt healthy lifestyles. We are a fast paced, innovative, motivated team that require the skills of candidates who are passionate, flexible and able work both independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be willing to travel across Stockport and hold a full driving licence and your own car
