ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED  PRACTITIONER LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO PROGRESS YOUR LEARNING AND CAREER?

 We are looking for dynamic, hardworking , enthusiastic, experienced Band 5 Theatre Practitioners to join our experienced Anaesthetic and recovery team.

The successful candidates will either be a  Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner. All candidates will be expected to rotate around our specialities.

We are proud of our ethos of welcoming new practitioners and providing a friendly, team orientated environment. We provide an in depth induction and an excellent preceptorship package tailored to individual needs. In house and external training is available to support you in your continued professional development and assist you in achieving your long term career goals. This includes Leadership and Management opportunities.

Main duties of the job

We are fortunate to have a team of Clinical practice leads (CPLs) for each discipline to assist you in your development and progress. If successful you will be given a tailored training package designed for all you learning needs. If you have no theatre experience this is a great support to assist you with your personal development.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust’s policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.

If successful, this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. 

In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
