Job overview
We are looking for highly motivated, ambitious and experienced Nurses/ODPs to join our already dynamic scrub team. We have 18 theatres on site delivering high quality care for the people of Stockport. We are fortunate enough to have the DA Vinci robot on site, delivering cutting edge surgery and enabling superb patient outcomes.
If successful you will be supported by our 5 Clinical practice leads who will guide you every step of the way and provide you with a bespoke training pack. We are a large but friendly department, intent on developing our staff and supporting their development needs.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the multi- disciplinary theatre team in the overall day to day running of a theatre or clinical area within the theatre footprint of Stepping Hill. You will ensure that high quality standards of care are delivered consistently. This position will be integral to our department in delivering a service second to none in the region. As a scrub practitioner you will be expected to assist all specialities within the theatre team, support and training will be provided by our Clinical Practice Leads.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
