Job overview

GMMH Psychological Therapies Division is a large Talking Therapies reporting service for people experiencing common mental health disorders. We consist of Psychological wellbeing practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors, Mental Health Practitioners and Psychologists

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and motivated individual to work as a Clinical Team Manager in our Talking Therapies service. We have a permanent position available in our Wigan talking Therapies Service. 

 

 

 

Main duties of the job

In this role you will assist with the day-to-day management and leadership of these well established services. In this role you will provide line management supervision to staff within the service and deputise for/support the Operational  Manager with other aspects of service development and delivery.

You will be involved in the recruitment, training and retention of staff. You will work closely with HR to support staff within the team and to implement HR policies where required. 

You will chair Team Meetings and support the ongoing development of the team through identifying learning opportunities with the wider management team. 

The successful applicant will join an established management team, where they will experience close support and will benefit from ongoing training and development.
