Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated person to join us in delivering a first class, administration service to support the Senior Leadership Team and the wider Estates & Facilities services.
We would like you to be highly proactive and able to use your own initiative and judgement to help manage the workload in addition to be customer focused. The post holder will need to have great communication skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite. You will be able to react calmly when dealing with multiple tasks that need to be delivered to tight timeframes.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will assist in providing a professional and comprehensive administrative service.
You must demonstrate a positive attitude, be flexible, have good written and verbal skills, be able to work using own initiative, and must have
excellent computer skills.
Provide accurate minutes of Directorate, Management and Service meetings.
Diary Management – use of electronic diary, ensuring diaries are free from clashes, ensuring regular meetings are planned well in advance and all papers available in a timely manner to facilitate meetings.
The post holder will primarily work from one base but may on occasion be required to work at other locations to support with service delivery.
Access to a suitable vehicle/other means of transport for business purposes is desirable.

Essential criteria
- RSA 3 / Equivalent (with recent evidence of speeds)
- NVQ 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Support Services or equivalent qualification
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with Grade C or above in English and Maths.
Desirable criteria
- ECDL

Essential criteria
- Knowledge of the full range of administrative procedures, acquired through training and previous experience of working in an administrative environment
- Working without direct/daily supervision
- Previous secretarial experience
- Minute taking experience
