Job overview
Job Summary
We are looking for a senior occupational therapist for a newly created post supporting the beneficiaries of the infected blood inquiry. This is a rare opportunity to be part of the new Infected Blood Psychology Service supporting those who were infected or affected by contaminated blood products. The care navigators will be the first point of contact for beneficiaries accessing this service and will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience. The post holder will be responsible for completing biopsychosocial assessments, interventions, creating care plans, assessing risk and signposting to other services and agencies as appropriate. The role will also include some leadership of outreach programmes, peer support and service development. The post holder will work closely with the IBPS psychologist’s and with the national network of care navigators. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the beneficiaries of the inquiry.
