Communications and Marketing Officer - Genitourinary Medicine
Band 5
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.
The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.
In its most recent inspection, the Care Quality Commission gave the Trust an overall rating of Good.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the axess Sexual Health team.
The communication officer post will work directly with the axess Sexual Health team to provide communications and marketing activity to support the delivery of the team’s services within the Trust and across the community-based sites.
This position will take a lead on the planning and implementation of the communications and marketing plan delivering all internal and external communications, marketing materials, social media and digital content.
The job will involve cross-team working with the role sitting within both the Trust Communications and Marketing team and axess Sexual Health.

In addition to the above areas of coverage, the idividual in this post will need to assist and work closely with the outreach team, to plan, arrange and advertise evets.
This is an exciting time to join our team, as we are also in the process of further expanding our research portfolio and develop our own trials which may require "marketing".
