The post holder will communicate as required with the line manager and colleagues in order to undertake the required duties.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will undertake such tasks as ;
● Litter pick/remove debris across all external grounds
● Sweep all external grounds 
● Empty all external bins across the grounds
● Maintain ( litter pick ) the external grounds of the carpark
● Clean external seating areas 
● Remove graffiti from external walls and external signs 
● Jet wash external areas when required
● Clean body spillages on external grounds 
● Litter pick of leaves and cigarette buts across external grounds 
● General cleaning of external onsite bus shelters 
● General cleaning of bike sheds
● General cleaning of internal court yards

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent by experience in the safe undertaking of a cleaning/estates role

Experience

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of relevant equipment and fault finding
  • Knowledge of health and safety principles
