We’re excited to offer a part time position for an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – in Elderly Care at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a well-established and Elderly Care Pharmacy Team with ongoing opportunities to contribute to innovative work across Frailty wards and a new Frailty Hub and working as part of a MDT

Main duties of the job
- Assist the Lead Divisional Pharmacist for Medicine (Royal site) in the development of pharmacy services and medicines management within the Elderly Care Directorate along with other members of the Elderly care Pharmacy team.
- To provide a safe and effective advanced clinical pharmacy service to the Elderly Care Directorate
- Provide outpatient clinic patient review and support where applicable to your role.
- Provide non-medical prescribing services to the Elderly Care Directorate
- With support from the Lead Divisional and Clinical Pharmacists audit, monitor and develop medicines management within your speciality.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Vocational master’s degree in pharmacy
- Membership of The General Pharmaceutical Council
- Diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent documented clinical experience
- Full NMP qualification
Desirable criteria
- MRPharmS
- UKCPA membership
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant experience in a relevant specialist pharmacist role
- Antimicrobial Stewardship experience
- Demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development / education
Desirable criteria
- Experience as a NMP
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Excellent clinical knowledge and practical clinical skills for the relevant specialist role
- Good all round clinical knowledge and practical clinical skills
