Senior Clinical Fellow - Stroke Imaging
Senior Clinical Fellow
Job overview
The Stroke fellowship is a one year post-radiology CCT training program, providing clinical experience across the full range of adult stroke and related presentation and pathologies. We are looking for a candidayte who will commence the fellowship in September 2026. The post will be full time and be based at LUHFT, working across AUH and RLUH sites.
The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of stroke diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI and vascular ultrasound. The candidates are required to have good foundation in interpretation reporting of CT/MRI brain and angiography. We are a hyperacute stroke unit and receive regional referral. The stroke related interventions are performed at our neighbouring Trust - Walton Neuro Centre. While the post is largely based at LUHFT, there is provision to work collaboratively with Walton Neuro Centre and thus gain further valuable experience.
The fellow will work closely with our experienced and cohesive Stroke Imaging consultant group, participating in interpretation and reporting of stroke imaging (with adequate supervision) and attendance at these MDTs. This is purely a diagnostic post. No on-call requirement.
