Liverpool Women’s NHS FT became part of NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group (UHLG) in November 2024, following the coming together with Liverpool University Hospitals NHS FT. UHLG was born from a shared aim to improve the care we provide to our patients.

The Operational Service Manager will support the Divisional Manager by providing operational management and business development of designated clinical speciality services within the Division.

The main area of service delivery will be for the Liverpool Women's Radiology Department which includes the on site Community Diagnostic Centre.

The post holder will be responsible for providing timely, efficient and effective operational management support to the Divisional Manager and the speciality leads, with the overall aim of ensuring that services are responsive and provided to the highest clinical and performance standards.

The post holder will also support the development and implementation of projects and business cases to improve cost, service delivery and patient experience to the key speciality areas, and will ensure continuous improvement of performance and quality targets.
