Please note that you are submitting an application to join our Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker pipeline and agree, by submission of application, to be added to our talent pool for a period of 12 weeks.  You application will be subject to a selection process - including shortlisting and interview. Candidates successful at interview will be added to our pipeline and offered roles as & when they become available for a period up to 12 weeks. You may choose to withdraw from the pipeline process at any time. Roles offered may be full or part time, and permanent or fixed term.  Shift patterns may be rotational, including nights.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to work alongside registered nurses to provide the highest possible standard of care for patients and families. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individuals to undertake this new role and be willing to commit to further learning and development.

Essential criteria
  • Good general education/ Literacy & Numeracy or willing to work towards obtaining
  • Working towards or prepared to work towards obtaining an apprenticeship in clinical healthcare.
  • Holds National Care Certificate
