Job overview

The successful applicant will be based predominantly at The Walton centre and to have a commitment to 7 sessions of Interventions. There will 3 sessions dedicated purely to academic and research activities.

On-call will be on a 1 in 5 for thrombectomy cover after the initial probationary period of approval at 6 weeks since the start of the post.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be based at The Walton Centre.  The post holder will attend as necessary, the Clinical and MDT Meetings that occur at WCFT.

The proposed sessions will comprise

10 sessions in total

7 Direct Clinical Care

-          4 on average will be interventional sessions in the angio lab

-          1 of these will INR clinic

-          1 of these will be inpatient review of the patients and attendance at neurovascular MDT

-          1 of these will be for reporting and checking cases performed

 

3 sessions will be for academic/SPA activities 

-          1 publication per quarter expected during fellowship

-          Total of at least 1 peer reviewed publications

-          1 National or international presentation
