Are you a Health Care Assistant or Clinical Support Worker with current experience within Endoscopy looking for flexible working across a variety of NHS Trusts in the Cheshire and Merseyside region?  

We are looking for Health Care Assistants, Clinical Support Workers or equivalent with Endoscopy experience to join the new Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Collaborative Bank.

Main duties of the job

The Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Collaborative Bank are looking for Health Care Assistants, Clinical Support Workers or equivalent who have current experience of Endoscopy to work across a variety of endoscopy units across Merseyside and Cheshire on a bank basis.

You will need to be adaptable in your approach to work, enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual with up to date endoscopy skills who is able to integrate quickly and work as part of the team. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To join the Cheshire and Merseyside Collaborative NHS bank you must currently have a substantive role working within the Endoscopy field.

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and/or equivalent qualification, and/or equivalent experience
  • Have a current substantive role within an Endoscopy setting
  • Care Certificate or willingness to work towards the Care Certificate qualification
  • Knowledge of clinical skills required to undertake the role
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously, and use own initiative when necessary
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
