Main duties of the job
Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is excited to be offering a permanent opportunity within the St Helens 0-19 Service for a Team Leader .
This posting with the St Helens 0-19 service is where you will join the team who are passionate about care delivery for our children and young people. With a varied role, this will require a commitment to performance , quality and effective care . Supporting and leading the locality teams within a place based care model . Identifying the needs of our areas and working with our partner agencies to ensure children of St Helens have the very best opportunities .

Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
- RN (Adult or Child/RSCN) or RM
- Post Grad Specialist Community Public Health Nursing – Health Visiting/School Nursing or equivalent
- V100 Nurse Prescriber
- Leadership Level 7 or relevant qualification
- Motivational Interviewing trained
- Solihull Approach Trained
Desirable criteria
- MSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing – Health Visiting/School Nursing or equivalent
- Mentorship Level 7
- Promotional Interviewing trained
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Substantial experience of managing a Health Visiting/School Nurse caseload
- Budget awareness
- Experience of working collaboratively with other agencies and professions to deliver change
- Evidence of leading innovation and change in clinical practice
- Experience of self-management and managing others
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to use email, internet and word processing software
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding issues
