THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 6 MONTHS DUE TO SERVICE NEEDS

The post holder will be expected to carry out a range of assigned clinical and organisational tasks to the highest standard to support and enable trained staff to provide excellent patient care, which reflects the quality of the standards and mission of  ENT Outpatients.

Be Responsible for communicating effectively with patients, carers, relatives and colleagues. Treating everyone with dignity.

Support patients through their outpatient journey by assisting and chaperoning in clinical examinations and consultations.

Recording patients vital signs.

Effective use of electronic systems, outlook, clinical portal.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Be able to prepare clinic rooms daily, stock up and close up clinic rooms for the day.

Decontaminate scopes per manufacturer and trust standards.

Be able to check Blood Glucose when need arises.

Assist clinicians during clinic procedures.

Prepare scopes for clinic use.
