Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Prince Charles Hospital. The post holder will work towards being a clinical expert, acquiring the skills and specialist knowledge and expertise and credibility through direct clinical practice.

 

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be able to manage patients receiving Dermatology treatments for chronic skin disease, phototherapy, systemic therapy and investigations required to assess those patients.  Will be involved with providing advice, support, and information from the time of diagnosis and throughout the patients care pathway from consultation, treatment, and aftercare.  They will work as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers and staff.  The successful candidate will be supported with the relevant education and training.
