Job overview
The Planned Care Services Group within CTMUHB is looking to recruit a Band 3 Clinic Co-ordinator to join our friendly Endoscopy Team based at Prince Charles Hospital.
Training for this position will be carried out at Prince Charles Hospital, and in the future it may be required to cross cover different hospital sites such as the Royal Glamorgan and Princess of Wales Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join a well-established team of staff who are responsible for the day to day coordination of all endoscopy appointments and outpatient clinics within the Endoscopy Unit working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that the right patient attends the right clinic, on the right day at the right time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of all case notes adhering to departmental policies and the provision of a high quality reception service for all patients, their families, carers and any other visitors to the department, and will also be required to perform a full range of duties outlined in the Job Description.
The successful candidate must possess good communication and customer care skills and excellent keyboard skills.
