Job overview
The VBHC (Value Based Healthcare) team have established a programme of work to develop a range of patient and workforce reported measures for a variety of service user groups to support the evaluation of the implementation of national delivery plans.
Based within the Value Based Healthcare Team, the post holder will work with and provide comprehensive and effective administrative support to the Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, VBHC lead and clinical staff for multiple service user groups for example heart failure, diabetes and lymphedema within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).
Main duties of the job
· Providing secretariat support for the VBHC team, Projects and Programmes.
· Assist in the development of standard patient reported outcome and experience measures (PROMs/PREMs).
· Test the feasibility and acceptability of administering PROMs/PREMs in different ways and comparing completeness and response rates.
· Use own initiative to deal with patients’ queries, providing information and assistance in regards to the PROM/PREM digital platforms.
· Supporting the nursing team with clinical administration.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
- GCSE in English, Mathematics and subjects relevant to role, or possess skills, knowledge and experience to equivalency.
- NVQ3 Administration or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and understanding of working with guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
- Clear knowledge of the importance of Health and Safety Regulations in the Workplace.
Desirable criteria
- Certificate of Business Administration.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Working with Microsoft Office applications.
- Significant experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Experience in taking and producing minutes.
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience.
- An understanding of Value-Based Healthcare principles

- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
