Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic, resourceful and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly gynaecology ambulatory unit. You will need to have a keen interest women's health, with the vision and passion to optimise high quality patient care.

The successful applicant will need to have a flexible and adaptable approach as there will be a requirement to cover and support clinics in various settings within the health board. The department has various clinics including; colposcopy, hysteroscopy and other specialist clinics. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary professional team supporting an ever-evolving service, which will contribute to the ever-changing landscape of gynaecology.

Main duties of the job

Currently we are unable to provide certificates of sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the Home Office’s criteria. Anyone requiring a certificate of sponsorship is therefore unable to be shortlisted and interviewed.

The successful applicant needs to have an interest in women's health, have excellent communication skills and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
The service aims to provide a high standard of care and is committed to continual service improvement within the speciality.
Some experience of working within a gynaecology setting would be an advantage, though this is not essential as full training and support will be provided.


The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
