Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.
This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

Job overview
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sexual and Reproductive Health Admin and Clinical staff to deliver fundamental timely care. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills and great attention to detail. They will also need to have the ability to work under pressure, use own initiative for certain tasks and also work as part of a team. An excellent telephone manner is vital as the post holder will have direct contact with patients, other health professionals and third party suppliers in line with operational processes and practices. The post holder must embrace change and be committed to best practice.
Knowledge of Myrddin, Clinical Workstation and Lillie Blithe is desirable but training will be provided for the successful candidate.
This role is very busy, varied and challenging but also very rewarding and will be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

- To work efficiently within the team and communicate with staff of all levels within the Sexual Health Directorate including Specialist Clinic Consultants and Nurse’s, patients who access Contraception and GUM services along with patients who self-refer / refer via GP via the telephone.

Responsible for day-to-day administration duties required for all aspects of the following Specialist services: Complex Contraception, Menopause, Psychosex, Vasectomy, and the unplanned Pregnancy Service. Regular Housekeeping of Databases as instructed by performance manager, process self referrals , letters/ prescriptions in line with department protocols.

- NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
- previous experience of NHS Admin role or similar

- CLAIT / ECDL admin based qualification
