Aneurin Bevan University Health Board support flexible working.

Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.

This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as a Junior Analytics Engineer.

About the Role:

This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the development of cutting-edge business intelligence (BI) solutions which have a direct impact on delivery of Health Services in Gwent. You will work on high-impact projects that align with the Health Board’s strategic objectives, using data to drive improvements in patient care and operational performance.

 

Main duties of the job

In this role, you’ll:

Participate in the provision of high-quality Business Intelligence services primarily to the Health Board.

The role will require the individual to translate business needs into technical requirements alongside the development of Business Intelligence products.

The post-holder will produce analysis, reports and business intelligence applications that demonstrate clearly and concisely the answers, findings and position of the organisation using appropriate and effective data visualisations; complemented with insightful commentary, which is then useful and progressive for the organisations business.

Undertaking highly complex data analysis using appropriate and reliable methods and tools such as MS SQL, Qlik Sense BI and Google Cloud Platform

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
