Job overview
You will be part of the Software Development team within the Digital, Data and Technology directorate and will have a range of technical responsibilities, working collaboratively within small multidisciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job
You should have significant and demonstrable experience in the following areas:
Essential
-
Experience of a modern industry standard integrated development environment such as Visual Studio professional

Experience of an industry standard DB management systems such SQL Service Management System

Experience of ISS for web application deployment and management

Experience of managing a backlog, such as breaking down requirements into work items and tasks

Highly proficient in the use of C# programming language

Proficient in the use of Transact SQL

Proficient in the use of HTML5 / CSS / Bootstrap for front end development

Proficient in the use JSON / XML

Proficient in application development using .Net 8 (or greater)

Proficient in application development using MVC / Web API

Highly proficient in the use of SOLID & OOP

Experience of class library development for plugin architecture

Experience of using a modern authorization protocol such as OAuth 2.0

Proficient in the use of HTTP
Desirable

Knowledge of HL7 v2 and FHIR R4

Experience of FHIR Firely API for accessing FHIR data

Experience of using Microsoft Entra ID
