Job overview

We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Workforce Business Partner to join join our team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, working within a well established, forward thinking and dynamic workforce function. 

This is a sought after role due to the variety, autonomy and the wide-reaching relationships with senior leaders within the divisions. The successful candidate will be crucial in leading the delivery of our People Plan within an agreed Divisional portfolio, whilst also supporting the divisional priorities. Candidates should have extensive experience in working in a complex organisation, preferably but not limited to a health/NHS environment.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will report to the Head of HR and will be the most Senior HR professional and the point of contact for all complex matters within the agreed Divisional portfolio. This includes taking a lead on system wide changes and improvements, leading the development and delivery of the workforce priorities and providing expert advice to divisional management teams. The post holder will also lead on a strategic projects across the health board in accordance with our People Plan.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
