The Resource Bank team based at Llanfrechfa in Cwmbran have a permanent vacancy  for an experienced call handler to join a very busy team supporting the resourcing of Bank and Agency workers to fill gaps in rosters for the Health Board. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience of working in a fast paced busy call handling environment, previous call handling experience is strongly recommended due to the high level of activity within the team.

Main duties of the job

  • To co-ordinate and respond to temporary staffing  requests for bank and agency workers using the computerised Staffing Allocation system and prioritise shifts according to urgency.
  • To maintain a high level of good communication skills, listening and verbal, to ensure the provision of a courteous and helpful service.
  • Assist with pay queries
  • Assisting Bank Workers with maintain their mandatory and statutory training compliance
  • To deal effectively with complaints reporting to the supervisor where appropriate.
  • To Maintain confidentiality of information at all times

This permanent opportunity is full time working across 7 day services between the hours of 08:00-20:00.  Agile working is in place offering some hours working from home and hours in the office at Llanfrechfa.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
