Job overview

We are recruiting experienced Registered Nurses to join our friendly hardworking team of Clinical Site Managers. Our role is challenging and requires good problem solving skills combined with being an experienced decision maker with an adaptable and flexible approach to many situations. If you are passionate, like we are about providing the best care to our patients, this position offers the right individuals the opportunity to showcase and develop their leadership and operational skills.

The post-holder will be accountable for the delivery of a high standard of cost-effective care without direct supervision and must be aware of their responsibility to achieve the flow of patients through the various clinical areas safely and efficiently while meeting required standards.

Main duties of the job

You will have responsibility for leading the team on a daily basis, facilitating patient flow across the health board to promote positive patient outcomes and ultimately enhancing the patient's hospital journey. The clinical site manager role is diverse and you will need to be flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing environment. As a responsible and accountable practitioner, you will be expected to exercise a high degree of personal professional autonomy and make critical judgments to satisfy the expectations and demands of the role. This to ensure that patient care, safety and operational efficiency is fully optimised. The ability to remain composed during periods of extreme pressure is essential.

The Site Management Team encourages informal visits to gain insight into the role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
