Job overview
Are you a motivated enthusiastic and caring person with good communication skills and the ability to organise, and required to work as part of a team in Gwent.
Based in Blaenavon in the General Dental Service, although you will be working in various areas of Gwent. You will be required to assist the Community Dentist, Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist, with all dental treatment. This will also include assisting with people who have special care needs at clinics, centres, hospitals, residential homes, patient homes and mobile dental units throughout Gwent.
Appropriate experience and relevant registration is essential.
You must be able to travel between sites in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the post.
Main duties of the job
To provide a range of clinical and administrative tasks (manual and computer) in an efficient and effective manner, assisting in the delivery of appropriate health care for the patients of the General Dental Service (GDS) Community Dental Service (CDS) within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
