Job overview
This role requires a motivated individual who can use initiative, manage their time and work well in the team. The role requires a flexible approach, therefore requires a calm individual whom can cope under pressure. This opportunity is for someone who can provide clerical and administration support to the team and customer care to patients and visitors. An individual with excellent communication skills is essential. A person who can work on own initiative and as part of a team to provide an environment that focuses on the patient and their experience maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Whilst experience in a range of I.T. systems such as Symphony, Clinical Workstation (CWS) and MYRDDIN is beneficial, full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide an efficient, caring and quality reception and clerical service within C4 Respiratory at The Grange University Hospital. The post holder work along side various healthcare professionals covering Monday to Friday office working hours (08:30-16:30 approximately).
The post holder will be responsible for accurate maintenance of various records alongside other general administrative and clerical duties. This role involves a great deal of liaison with nursing and medical staff, other staff members across all areas within the Health Board and a high degree of patient contact. The postholder must have the ability to pay attention to detail.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
